A Customer Service and Sales Supervisor is required to join our team in Glasgow.
This is a full time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (some weekend work will be required). The shifts are between the hours of 8am - 8pm.
WHAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SALES SUPERVISOR JOB INVOLVES:
The Customer Service and Sales Supervisor role is a varied and challenging one where no one day is the same. You`ll be working within a friendly and supportive team and playing a vital role in ensuring that students living in our properties have a great experience.
Covering a number of our properties and supervising a team, you will be:
-Leading a team in delivering high quality customer service and ensuring the safety and welfare of our student customers
-Promoting and delivering sales best practice within the city
-Taking accountability for overall property presentation
-Co-ordinating and providing key support in emergencies
-Overseeing and completing general financial and administration duties
-Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key University stakeholders, local authorities and local communities.
Working in our busy properties, you`ll be building up relationships with our student customers from day one, providing them with excellent service.
There are also a variety of important team leadership and supervisory duties, such as:
-Monitoring progress and quality of work
-Conducting 1 to 1 meetings
-Managing performance
-Identifying and managing personal development needs
-Planning and managing resource levels (including rota management, holiday and recruitment)

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU:
A genuine passion for customer service is the most important quality for us. Although you may not have worked in the accommodation, hospitality or retail sectors before, what is really important to us is that your experience will have included:
-Team leader, supervisory or management experience in a customer facing sales environment
-Performance management, people development, coaching and mentoring
-Motivating others in the delivery of excellent customer service
-Building an excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
-Developing and utilising strong financial and commercial awareness (including previous experience of working with and managing costs and budgets)
Personally and professionally you`ll demonstrate that you:
-Are a first class team player who possesses a positive and collegiate attitude
-Thrive on understanding, empathising and delivering against customer needs
-Possess excellent communication skills and can build relationships effectively with people
-Have a good level of computer literacy and are able to use Microsoft Office
-Are able to work at pace, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
-Have excellent personal time management and prioritisation skills
-Are self-motivated and able to work on your initiative
