I have a BSc & PhD in Physics and carried out aerospace research for 11 years. For 7 years I taught Numeracy, Literacy and Science in a primary school. I home educated my daughter up to and including A levels. She received 4 x A* grades in Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry.

I’m an experienced private tutor and have been described as "kind, encouraging, patient and very understanding". I teach all ages, up to mature adults, and have experience at teaching students with dyslexia.
My tutorials are relaxed and friendly to maximise learning. In this supportive environment my students get excellent results.

I prefer to teach in my own home but do travel to students. I have enhanced DBS certificates. I tutor through prestigious tutoring agencies, but am able to offer lower rates when contacted directly.
