Ladder position is not fixed and can be placed anywhere along frame.
Measurements
30 inches (75cm)wide, 79inches ( 198 cm) long, stacked as bunk 57 inches (142.5cm) high. Or separately each bed 28.5inches high.
Frame could easily be painted but in reasonable condition
