Hello, my name is Caroline and I am a Freelance Makeup Artist based in Edinburgh and covering most areas within the UK & Ireland.
Having worked as a makeup Artist for over 15 years I have a great deal of experience from training with different brands such as MAC, Laura Mercier, Lancôme, Chanel, Stila and Bobbi Brown.
I was MAC trained to the highest certification before focusing on management with Laura Mercier where I ran their largest account worldwide in Selfridges in London.
I have spent the last 3 years in London expanding my knowledge and experience within the world of Makeup Artistry.
My most recent role was Regional Makeup Artist and Trainer for Laura Mercier within the 64 SpaceNK Apothecary stores across UK & Ireland.
I have collaborated with some of the worlds leading fashion designers such as Chanel, Donna Karan, Nicole Fahri, Jonathon Saunders and Jenny Packham. My work has also been published in magazines such as Vogue, Grazia and InStyle.
In 2012 I was given the most incredible opportunity to do the makeup for fashion royalty and editor in Chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour for her appearance at the Edinburgh Film Awards. This was followed up by a personalised signed letter from Ms Wintour thanking me for my work... A letter which I shall cherish forever!
My personal highlight has been working at the BAFTA's for 3 years consecutively and having done makeup for top celebrities including Sienna Miller, Dominic Cooper, Emma Willis and Tilda Swindon to name a few.
