For sale, our much loved camper, “Katy”. A bright orange 1974, T2 Bay camper, as seen in the Abbey Insurance ad on UTV! MOTed to February 2017.

4 berth fully restored and fitted camper with a re-manufactured Remtec 2ltr air cooled engine with just under 20,000 miles on the clock. Katy has a modern interior with:
• Rock and roll bed with 2 lap seat belts
• 4 ring cooker
• SMEV fridge
• Sink and electric water pump
• Work top
• Removal table with Fiamma fittings
• Electric hook up with 2 interior 3 pin sockets

We have owned Katy for eight years and have invested a considerable amount of time and money in her during that time with many happy trips in Ireland, Scotland, Cornwall and Devon. It is time to pass Katy on a new owner as we are starting on a new van project. Katy has also had the following work done:

• A fully re-manufactured engine installed and set up by Dave Wheatley of Bugbitz performance engineering.
• Replacement gear box installed by Gardiner Transmissions, Cullybackey.
• Replacement heat exchangers, bearings and many other parts.
• Full service history and record of all parts bought and work carried out.
• The bumpers and front door handles are brand new as the old ones were showing signs of wear and tear.
• New radio aerial.
• The body work is in good condition, recently cleaned and waxed, however there are a few areas around the wheel arches which need attention from the new owner and Katy has been priced accordingly.
• Recently serviced with oil and oil filter change plus a new battery and starter motor fitted.
• Fully wax oiled underside

Katy was originally imported from Australia when she was fully re-sprayed and fitted out by a professional VW restoration company in Devon before being brought over to Northern Ireland.
