South Cambridgeshire District Council, Cambridge City Council and Huntingdonshire District Council are recruiting for Refuse Drivers to join our teams which deliver high-quality, environmentally-sustainable services.
Joining hard-working teams with a service satisfaction rate of over 90%, we need people who can bring a flexible, professional, friendly attitude not only to driving our vehicles, but also leading others in the delivery of our waste services. Candidates need to be committed to delivery of high-quality customer service, be fully-licensed HGV drivers holding a drivers CPC and qualified to drive any LGV2 vehicle.
As a Refuse Driver you will be working as part of a team and it is expected that you will also work as a Loader on some of the daily rounds.
South Cambridgeshire District Council and Cambridge City Council are forming a shared service and are based at our Waterbeach Depot with early-morning starts. Roles with Huntingdonshire District Council are based at Huntingdon also with early-morning starts.
